Jim Groeneweg built this Peterbilt 379 in 2004. It is a Jacobs Models resin cab on a stretched Athearn chassis along with A-Line front wheels, Dennis Aust rear wheels and air breathers. The interior and visor are from Boley. Modifications include scratchbuilt "Air Trac" suspension, cut down half fenders from Herpa, and added stainless steel skirts with lights. Scratchbuilt items include exhaust stacks, mirrors, grab handles, toolbox, stepladder, fifth wheel plate, fuel tanks, light bar, wipers, air horns, mud flaps, bug deflector and windows.
