This snowplow from Ron Elsdoerfer has an interesting history. Where Ron lives in Southern New England they had a bad winter during the '97-'98 winter season. His town was short on heavy plowing equipment so the DPW (department of public works) guys got hold of a surplus U.S. Army chassis and converted it at the city garage into a sturdy plow truck. Ron used a Roco truck, plow and sander, along with a scrap dump body from an old Wiking model to recreate "Big Bertha."
