The year is 1914 and the local prison farm is sending out a couple prisoners for a work detail. "Fix up them roads and fill them pot holes," says the warden of Prison Farm 14. "Let's have some good roads for a change". Randy Sawyer customized Preiser figures to make the two guards and two prisoners for this scratchbuilt 1914 White "Good Roads" truck and also custom made simulated "steel" wheels out of Evergreen styrene tubing with spoked centers from a Jordan Fordson Tractor. The 1/87 scale model is based on a photograph found in the book, "The Illustrated Encyclopedia of American Trucks" and was constructed in February of 2008.
