The Cat 957 is the biggest Coal Bowl scraper that Caterpillar currently makes. It is an impressively big machine in itself. Wayne Clader wondered what would happen if Cat made a "serious" coal scraper and this is what came out of that imagineering process. The basis of this model was the 1/64 scale Norscot Cat 611 Scraper. Its bowl was extended and the 1/87 scale Norscot 927G cab was added as well as its rear engine. The Norscot 927 is alongside for a size perspective.
