Randy replaced another 1911 Remington Truck in his collection with this nice version of a 1911 Remington 5-ton Stake Truck. The color of the wheels on this scratchbuilt model seems pretty natural. This was accomplished with a wash of Humbrol enamel #63 and some powdered light gray pastel chalk. According to Randy, the Remington was a cab over engine truck like many of the early trucks.
