This Peterbilt 387 truck tractor is, according to modeler Richard Olson, a quick kitbash of an Ertl Peterbilt 387 cab mounted on a Malibu/High Speed "KW-thingy" chassis. The cab was covered in Duplicolor metallic Claret red, Bare Metal Foil on the grille, and the front windows were replaced with clear acetate/plastic. It was finished using the interior, modified mirrors and exhaust from the same Malibu truck and wheels/tires from High Speed.
