Randy built this 1/87 scale model of a 1926 Autocar from scratch based on an illustration found in the book, "Handbook of Automobiles 1925-1926". Styrene and brass were used to build the cab and chassis. The model features a cargo box built board by board from Northeastern Scale Lumber and a driver figure by Preiser. Circus Craft Wagon Wheels with filed and stretched 3/8" plastic tubing were used to simulate the wood spoke wheels and solid rubber tires. Approximately 16 hours were spent building this unique model.
