Randy took two Jordan brand 1924 American LaFrance Fire Trucks and kitbashed them into this nice extended fire truck. Smaller tires were made for the model out of 3/8 inch plastic tubing that was rounded over with a small file and stretched with a special tool. This is a stem off a caster wheel with a bevel on the end and a handle. A longer chassis was made from styrene and brass. Flat fenders and running boards were made from sheet brass. Also installed were brass marker lanterns by Precision Scale and brass handrails. The completed model measures 2-7/8 inches long.
