Mike Pebesma built this heavy railroad repair hi-rail truck. It started with a Boley International crew cab fire truck which was put on an scratchbuilt extended frame. The bed and overhead rail rack are scratchbuilt and the hoist is Herpa. The hi-rail wheels are made from N scale freight car wheels and can be moved to the road or rail position. It was painted using Pollyscale paints and decals from The Backshop (out of production) with Ontario licence plates from Penitentiary Products.
