Here is a 1/87 scale model of a rare 1912 Commer Truck. The model was scratchbuilt in 2006 from a drawing found in the book "Trucks and Vans" by Bishop/Marshall. Styrene and brass were used along with the drive chains from a Jordan American LaFrance Pumper. The front wheels are modified Circus Craft wagon wheels and the rear disc wheels were made from scratch to match the illustration. The driver figure is by Preiser.
