The tractor and semi-trailer started with one of the new Athearn model R Macks straight out of the package and a dry bulk trailer from Puget Sound. The trailer has been raised .060" to clear the added plumbing detail underneath. Better ladder work was added; tail lights are railroad headlight castings with red MV lenses. Some diamond plate grating was added on the top of the trailer and on the fenders. These parts came from leftover A-Line double stack car kits. The dolly assembly is a spare from a CMW semi. Paint was Home Depot chrome silver. Decals are homemade. Mirrer's Trucking was a real company that was around in the '70's - '90's.
