This Kenworth T800 truck tractor was built by club webmaster Bob Johnson using the excellent Kenworth T800 cab conversion resin kit from Dennis Aust. The chassis is a modified Herpa that was shortened to the prototype's 155 inch wheelbase. The wheels are from A-Line, mirrors from Plano Model Products, and decals from Microscale. The roof airfoil is a modified Promotex Freightliner piece and the side fairings and extenders were fabricated from styrene. Bumper, battery box, and fuel tank (not shown) are all detail pieces from Dennis Aust.
