Clare Gilbert built this street rod with shortened chassis
and lowered suspension. Clare shortened the pickup box to about a
third of its original length. There is a scratchbuilt roll pan on the
rear with four round taillights and a recess for the license plate.
The cab, hood and interior are all stock. Even the headlights came
from the Power Wagon. The wheels are from two different Hot Wheels
toys and the headers are scratchbuilt as is the fuel tank in the pickup
box. Clare's step-daughter Shauna printed the decals
for him. Paint is Floquil engine black and
Delta Ceramcoat yellow with acrylic gloss oversprayed.
