Here's another look at Holm Kämpfer's fantastic Terex RH 400,
the world´s largest hydraulic shovel with a weight of some 980
metric tons. The model consists of about 2,300 parts and
it took Holm
230 hours
to make it.
Holm says, "After such a work I´m just not brave enough
to weather to models and so I must tell everybody that it is always
their first
operating
hour in the mine when I took the photographs." Holm normally presents
his models
as a Mining Equipment Exhibition where they are always shining clean.
