This Mercedes-Benz/Metz CFR model from Dirk Wieczorek was the first
new crash truck at Duesseldorf Airport in 1955. The model was built
using the cab of a Brekina pumper with a
scratchbuilt body. A great deal of work was needed for the hose reels and the
top of the vehicle.
