This great Christmas scene is from Michael Maicovski of Graz, Austria! Michael works at the fire department of the city of Graz and tells us his biggest hobby is everything about fire brigades and fire prevention. He also likes to build fire brigades in 1/87. He had the idea to build a Winter Christmas diorama in typical Austrian style. Michael is a new visitor to our web site! Michael tells us he built this diorama with only one hand because he has a prosthesis and says, "Everything is possible!" This photo from Michael was one of the entries in our recent 2003 Holiday Model Contest and tied for first place in the "Holiday Scene" category.
