This model of a 1920 Atterbury Truck was constructed in early 2002
based on an illustration found in an out of print book, "American Truck
Spotters Guide 1920-1970". The cab was made with styrene
and with brass fenders. The model was recently reworked to photograph
better. A new cargo box was built up with scale
lumber, stained with thinned down model paints, and weathered
with dry colors and chalk. Wheels are metal castings by On-Trak,
and the lanterns are by Precision Scale. The cab and chassis was
also repainted a rust color with Humbrol enamels and heavily
weathered with dry colors.
