Here's another view of Albrecht Schilde's massive Hayes
off-road logging truck he built using a Don Mills kit of the "very
hard working" Hayes
HDX-1000. Many add-on pieces were fitted (running boards,
mirrors, turbodiesel engine, dirt traps) and the model refined with
chains and other parts. Albrecht added the paint and weathering with
an airbrush. A Ford Expedition from Walthers is shown for comparison.
