Here's another view of Richard Olson's rebuilt Roco Dodge D-250 pickup.
The pickup bed was replaced with a scratchbuilt stakebed on a lengthened
chassis. The tilting flat/stake bed was built from styrene and scale
lumber and includes removable stake panels and/or bedsides. Te chassis
was modified by removing the material between the rear frame and detail,
lifting the suspension and adding dual rear tires. Fuel tanks are from
the parts box, mirrors and wipers from Roco, scratchbuilt mudflaps,
taillights and running boards. Painted with Humbrol light and dark
green, Floquil white, black and silver then slightly weathered. Also
shown in Photo Galleries 148 and 149.
