With a wheelbase of 102" and 30" tires, the 1916 Autocar
was small by today's standards, but considered to be a large truck
in 1916. The model was constructed in 2002 based on scale plans published
by Precision Scale. It was made of styrene and brass, with a little
scale lumber used for the side boards on the cargo box. The tires were
made up by modifying Circus Craft Wagon Wheels. The marker lamps are
also by Precision Scale, and the figure is by Preiser.
