Here's one more view of Chester Fesmire's great model of the IHC
KB8 built from an
Imex
International
KB8 with shortened
chassis, added Alloy Forms differential,
springs, and deck winch, Herpa wheels, and a lot of "parts box
stuff" like the battery box and fifth wheel. Scratchbuilt parts
include rear fenders and exhaust. The winch has lead core fishing line
and the front light bar/license plate holder is cut from an old fire
truck hose reel. It is shown hauling a Sheepscot 20 ton beavertail
trailer with Lonestar Models wheels and tires. The load is a Woodland
Scenics bulldozer. The little people are Preiser figures. Also shown
in Photo Galleries 126 and 127.
