The 1926 Autocar was one of the best known early trucks. This model
was made from scratch and inspired by an illustration in an out of
print book, "American Truck Spotters Guide 1920 - 1970." The
wheels are modified Circus Craft wagon wheels with shaped 7/16" tubing
added for the solid rubber tires. Styrene, brass, and scale lumber
were used throughout the construction. The 1910 Stutz Bearcat on deck
was kitbashed from an old Snapperroo kit in the '70s and added to the
scene just for fun.
