Built entirely from scratch, this model of a 1920 Daimler proved to
be a very time consuming project. The cab and hood were built of styrene
and brass as was the dump box that proved quite a challenge. The complicated
wheels were built up out of sheet styrene and plastic tubing. The model
features a working dump box and a working lift made of brass rod and
tubing. This model was inspired by an illustration in the book, "Trucks
and Vans" by Bishop/Marshall and constructed in the mid 1970s.
