Here's another view of Jim Groeneweg's great looking
International 9400 model. This model features a cast resin cab that Jamie Groeneweg
built the mold master
for. Jim
Groeneweg
then
took
his upcoming Jacobs Models International 9400 cast resin cab kit and mounted it
on a Promotex Ford Aeromax chassis. He added fuel tanks from Jacobs
Models' Ford LTL kit (modified slightly) and added his cast resin sleeper
box to resemble a 52" flat top. The exhaust stacks are out of
the scrap box. There's a Promotex tool box on right side and semi scratchbuilt
battery box on left side. The mirrors are Herpa CH Mack as are other
detail items (antenna, convex mirrors) are various plastic peices.
The trailer is the Promotex 48' flatbed that Jim made to resemble a
Dorsey and topped it off with a load of lumber from Chooch Enterprises
of Redmond, WA. Jim detailed the ends, tie bands, and and the gap beween
the lifts (or bundles). Also shown in Photo
Gallery 107.
