C&D Models has released two four wheel drive agricultural tractor models. One is a Case 1470 model and the second is an International Harvester 4786. Both models are of prototypes from the 1970s.
Ertl has announced future release of a North American prototype combine harvester. As reported in the September 1998 issue of Mainline Modeler, this John Deere 9510 model will be substantially more detailed than the current offerings. Featured will be a removable six row corn head and removable wheel/tire assemblies so it may be modeled as a railroad flatcar or truck lowboy load.

Promotex has announced some much needed and sought after truck models in their just announced "Custom 87" line. The line will include trailer models such as tri-axle and spread axle 45' and 48' models, single axle 40' van, and tandem axle 27' van. Available information indicates all will be available with white exterior, conspicuity striping, and aluminum colored roofs ready for decal application. Truck tractor models include single drive axle versions of the Herpa Mack CH and Ford LTA9000 (Aeromax) models (for you UPS and LTL trucking fans!), tri-axle Mack tractor, and tandem drive axle Mack with lift-axle (for all you heavy-hauler fans!). Also to be available is a tandem axle converter dolly for those really heavy doubles rigs! Look for the "Custom 87" models from Promotex available in the following stock numbers:
