C & D Models is announcing on their new web page (www.cdmodels.com) that they intend to produce a 1973 Dodge Charger SE. This should be welcome news for everyone lamenting the absence of 1970s automobile models. C & D also has listed on their web site an announcement for a 1998 Ford Louisville truck model. This is the new style cab that is now owned by Freightliner and marketed under the Sterling nameplate. A very welcome addition guys! Matchbox has an excellent model of the Caterpillar Challenger rubber tracked agricultural tractor masquerading as a toy. Check this one out at your local "X"mart store's toy section. The color is a little questionable and the package includes a rubber tracked trailer, a couple bales of plastic hay, and a Farmer Brown "action figure". This model is part of the Matchbox Dirt Machines collection and title "Field Shapers". Also available in this collection are a Caterpillar tractor with backhoe and a steel compactor wheeled tractor with front blade as seen in use in sanitary landfill operations and highway construction sites everywhere.
