Athearn has anounced a series of long-awaited 53' container chassis models to be released initially bundled with an appropriately decorated 53' domestic chassis. Expected delivery is September 2006.

We've gotten new photos of Ricko models previously announced but not yet released models of the 2006 Ford Mustang GT Coupe, 2005 Ford GT, Cadillac Aerodynamic Coupe, Cadillac Escalade and Cadillac Sixteen. Please note these are very early pre-production samples and further refinement and polishing of the production tooling will certainly enhance these models. For now, enjoy the start of what promises to be a spectacular year for 1/87 scale North American prototype vehicle deliveries!
