2003 Photo from Fulda

We were shocked and deeply saddened by the news that our friend and German model collector Marc Schmidt had passed. Mark was very instrumental in helping us gain traction on the 1/87th Vehicle Club website with his Toy Fair reports from Nuremberg and various model shows around Europe in the early 2000s. You may still read his reporting from the past monthly New Products pages from the era. We mourn the loss of not only a great source but a dear friend to many in the 1/87 collector and modeler community. He will be sorely missed by many! [posted 04/19/2021]
