April 1, 2013 marked the 15th anniversary of our club presence on the internet! Over this span we've evolved from an organization founded in 1995 based on a dues paying membership structure to one providing free access to all who have an interest in our hobby and passion centered on 1/87 (HO) scale vehicle modeling. Our organization and influence has grown as we've expanded our efforts with manufacturers and modelers alike. As in the beginning, we're still focused on providing the best source of information and inspiration for modelers in our scale and are now able to provide that on a growing global basis. Our contacts with and assistance to manufacturers of North American prototype models continues to grow and reflect our commitment to the highest quality vehicle models in our scale.

We want to thank the late Bill Goddard who told us he never would have believed just how much his original dream of an HO scale vehicle club could have grown, the late Bob Kelly who was a pioneer and prolific modeler and collector in the U.S., Dan Goins, our early club president upon whose back the club was carried for many years, and both Wayne Calder and Bill Cawthon who performed admirably under very difficult circumstances as our print newsletter editors until our conversion to a web content only format. There are countless others who we owe a debt of gratitude and want to say say "thank you" to you all. We want to especially thank all of you who have made this endeavor so fruitful and enjoyable! Many of you have become close friends as we've met over the years though this hobby and our growing presence at the annual W. Springfield, Massachusetts train and hobby show, as well as others in the U.S. and Canada, continues to provide one of the largest public audiences for promotion of our group and our hobby in North America. To all our friend and fellow modelers in Europe who provided much of the support for this scale in the "early days" we wish continued success with the Fulda Meet each October and hope we're able to have a joint showing on your home turf at some point.
