For those of you who have insisted on waiting to see some evidence from River Point Station Models that they are "for real," these photos should start to set your minds at ease! The photos above are of pre-production model samples that give some idea to the quality, fit, and finish that River Point Station will be bringing to the 1/87 vehicle model landscape! All reports from independent sources that have seen the models in person reinforce the notion that these are some of the best injection molded plastic models of North American prototypes ever produced. Please note that these are photos of pre-production models and the final tooling may include further refinement; we're assured the window molds still need final polishing to get that clear look and will certainly be done. We're happy to see River Point Station getting this close to production of their first model and can't wait to see this and future models produced! [posted 05/21/2007]
