Our friend Bob Sundstrom has published and mailed the newest issue of Model Freightways dated December 2013 (Issue #46). If you are a fan of truck transportation history, truck fleet modeling, or just model trucks in general you will find this print resource invaluable! The current issue features trucks from New Zealand, the largest known 1/87 scale truck terminal (8'x8', 165 dock doors), a model of Consolidated Freightways' Cicero Avenue terminal in Chicago by Paul Paoletti along with many CF memorabilia items, an impressive Readers' Gallery of model photos, some fascinating excerpts from the CF's newsletter The Freighter including a selection on then 13 year Fred Gruin, and also a pictorial update featuring Fred Gruin's new model railroad layout (really just an excuse to display all his truck models "in the wild!").
