This 1/87 scale ocean racing yacht is a model of one of the eight yachts competing in the "Volvo Ocean Race", an around-the-world sailing competition (we first showed you this model in our Chicago Hobby Show Report). This vessel, for team Assa Abloy, is the first release in a series of all eight yachts. This model is assembled and painted; rigging is included but not installed. The prototype is over 63' long and the main mast is over 83' tall. Produced by InterMountain Railway Company, the series will include all eight yachts.
