While most of our web site visitors and many of our northeastern U.S. enthusiasts know Ralph Ratcliffe or at least his excellent modeling and commercial offerings, modelers of other scales and interests will no doubt become familiar with him as Ralph is profiled in a recently released book titled "The History of Resin Transport Modelling." The book by British author David Wright covers a wide spectrum of modeling topics, eras, and scales with the common denominator being all resin models. Ralph has expressed what an honor it is for him personally to have been included in such a work and recommends the book for modeling enthusiasts of all types and collectors as well. Many of the modelers presented may not be familiar to our group but the book opens us up to the many possibilities offered by the resin medium. [posted 05/11/2013]
