In a very good bit of news for modelers of North American prototype truck and intermodal trailers, Athearn has announced the acquisition of A-Line's excellent tooling for 28' vans, 40' and 45' Fruehauf Z-Vans, 53' Wabash National van trailers, a 53' Utility refrigerated trailer, and a variety of other models including bottom- dump, flatbed, and grain trailers that were formerly part of the Trucks N' Stuff product line. This marks the first time the A-Line trailers will be available in assembled form. We look forward to more excellent painted and assembled trailer models in the Athearn line! We should start seeing the first models on dealer shelves in early 2008. [posted 07/13/2007]
