2002 is off to a fairly spectacular start for 1/87 scale vehicle modelers! The 2002 International Toy Fair in Nürnberg had many new and exciting 1/87 models and accessories on display. Shown above is a test shot of Wiking's new Massey-Ferguson MF8200 agricultural tractor. Of particular interest to our many construction equipment modelers are the announcement from both NZG and Norscot that they will be producing die-cast Caterpillar models in 1/87 scale! Also, Herpa is producing their first construction model in the Liebherr's biggest wheel loader, the L580. Wiking has also announced MTD rear bagging riding lawn mower!
