This is a four axle recovery truck, a 1988 Saurer D330F 8x4, 330hp with Rau Master 30 ton lift and Meiler MK125RS 5.3 ton crane. One winch is rated at 30 ton and one at 20 ton with total permitted towing load of 100 ton.
The Swiss company Adolph Saurer AG, in Arbon, on Lake Constance, was the most important Swiss manufacturer of trucks and buses for private companies, government, and military.
Jo Jucker built the imposing truck with parts of Saurertruck and Kibri. He opened the driver’s door and one side compartment with a knife. Lots of details were added and everything was painted. The crane and the lift are fully movable.
