These photos are of Fritz Dahlin's latest build, a Ford N series dump truck. The cab is a Matchbox #71 die-cast heavy wrecker mounted on a Atlas Ford LNT-9000 chassis with rear wheels from Athearn. Front tires are Dennis Aust high flotation tires, Atlas fuel tanks, A-Line mirrors, and scratchbuilt interior and dump bed. Paint is Poly Scale, highlighted with colored Sharpies for the windshield gasket and headlights. Weathering was done with acrylic washes, drybrushings, and Mig Jimenez oil washes. The cab was stripped, the hole in the roof plugged, and repainted. The Atlas frame was stretched. A photo of the prototype inspiration is shown at bottom.
