Rick Hoskinson started with a Roco SdKfz 7/2 anti aircraft half-track truck. The flatbed was removed and the shortened bed of a Brekina Mercedes Benz 4500 was installed to create the late war version of this half-track The tracks were enhanced by adding taller track shoes cut from strip styrene. The folded soft top and bed tarp were made with tissue paper. Interior details include scratch built instrument panel, shift, and brake levers as well as a new windshield frame with A-Line windshield wipers. Other scratchbuilt items are fender mounted clearance markers, front and rear license plates, and tail light with lens from MV Products. Rick's model was painted with Model Masters enamel and was weathered with washes, dry brushing, pastel chalks and art pencils. The decals are from TL.
