The local Colorado Highway Department Caterpillar dozer climbs the hill as it performs road maintenance work on main street in Ophir Loop, Colorado (above). In the background the C.B. Johnson Company 1956 Autocar DC10364S ore trucks with Cummins 335 horsepower engines get ready for a day's work around the derelict tram house at Ophir Loop. The Autocar trucks, tractors, dump bodies, converter dollies and dump trailers are all built from Alloy Forms white metal kits. The D8 dozer was built from a GHQ white metal kit.
