1956 Chevrolet LCF Tank Truck - By Chester Fesmire

Chester Fesmire tells us this "little guy" is a 1956 Chevy LCF (low cab forward) that is a clear resin casting of unknown origin. This is very similar to, but not exactly the same as the Resin Unlimited piece. Chester placed it on a Roco chassis and added the tank made from a Bic cigarette lighter. The bumper and grille have been Bare Metal Foiled and it has been painted to represent a 6x6 brush fire tanker. There was an outfit called Coleman that used to do these front drive axle conversions in the mid-fifties. All has been sprayed with a coat of Future Floor Wax. May be there's no prototype for this but Chester says he couldn't resist.
