This is the "Firefighter Boat'' from Revell. This is an accurate 1:87th scale model kit. The prototype was built for the FDNY in 1938. It is still in duty on special call. The last time it saw action was September 11, 2001. This is painted F.D.N.Y. scheme, modern era (the original scheme was black for the hull). Official designation is ''Marine 9''. Displayed at the 2002 Montreal Meet.
