Taking 9th place in the Facebook 1/87 Scale Vehicle Models' group 2017 Build Challenge is this 1960 Ford T1000 Super Duty truck tractor with lowboy trailer by John Redding. John used the requisite Classic Metal Works 1960 Ford cab with kitbashed fenders, headlights, and grille. John added an Athearn frame and five spoke wheels. The scratchbuilt lowboy trailer features a deck made of individual wood planks. The 1955 Ford Big Job dump truck on the lowboy trailer has an Athearn cab, modified Life-Like dump bed, and CMW frame and wheels left over from the 1960 Ford tractor cab used for the conversion.
