Here's another photo of the Peterbilt 389 day cab truck tractor Dennis Raper built to haul his logging lowboy and Caterpillar D5 dozer. The Trucks N' Stuff truck tractor model has had the sleeper removed and the back of the cab filled in, a lift axle added, a scratchbuilt headache rack added, and the mud flaps have been changed to a more prototypical thickness. Dennis also changed the fuel tanks, shortened the hood by one scale foot to make the truck look more like a 379 model instead of a 389. He also moved the fifth wheel forward, repainted the truck, and added A-Line mirrors. All weathering was done with Bragdon and Bar Mills powders and some dry brushing and washes. The dozer and lowboy have been previously featured in Photo Galleries 476 & 480.
