1925 Kissel Stake Bed Truck - By Randy Sawyer


Following an illustration in the book "Handbook of Automobiles 1925-1926", Randy scratchbuilt this version of a 1925 Kissel stake bed truck in July, 2007. Styrene and brass was used to make the chassis and body. Scale lumber by Northeastern was utilized in constructing the stake bed and the tires were fashioned individually from Plastruct tubing. Spoked wheel centers came from a Jordan kit. The model features lanterns by Precision Scale and a driver figure by Preiser.
