Where To Find Us At The 2013 Show

We also encourage you to attend the show and display your models with us at the show. To locate our display area within the Mallary Complex, click on the "Where To Find Us At The Show" link above or to the left. We've been allocated to our club's display area a total of 42 eight foot tables (30 inches deep). We anticipate having plenty of space available but we do want to assign display areas based on an advance registration process. You can sign up for the amount of linear space you desire to display models in 2 foot increments. Please register as soon as possible to make the show setup in January go as smoothly as possible. You have until January 12, 2013 to register free, without having to pay a fee for your name badge. After January 12, 2013 you will neeed to pay $10 per registrant directly to the Show for your name badge which allows entry for both days.

We also welcome vendors to join us at the show in our display area. If you would like to sell models, kits, parts, etc. in our club's display area, sales tables are available @ $150.00 per 8 foot table. It is very important to note that vendors must each have an contract with the show and a Massachusetts sales tax permit to sell at the show. Contact the Show Director for latest information and specificy you want to be located within our display area. Vendors may go onto the general "wait list" if inclusion within our area is not specified.

For accommodations in the area for the show, consult the Hotel Listing at the Amherst Society Train Show site. Scroll down to the accommodations section of the page. Many of our club members will be staying at the Days Inn and Hampton Inn, both in Chicopee, MA about a block apart. We've found these two hotels offer plenty of available rooms at reasonable rates (be sure and ask for the train show rates) during the show weekend. It's a great place to hang out after the show with fellow modelers and enjoy some of the most enjoyable people you'll ever meet in this hobby! [posted 01/13/2013]
