John DaPos built his fire station 3 from his childhood neighborhood which consisted of an old yellow brick engine house with a bell tower. This station was in a busy residential area and housed a rare 1970 Mack CF open cab engine. John made his model using an IHC model with Boley wheels and various added details. The 1971 Ford Econoline rescue van was made from a Planet toys die-cast model that he painted and detailed. A photo of the prototype truck is shown in the bottom photo.
