Jim Groeneweg built this impressive North American Van Lines Mack Cruiseliner using a resin cab riding on a Herpa Freightliner chassis with A-Line fuel tanks and Athearn 10 hole Alcoa wheels and tires. The windshield is flush mounted using clear plastic from a blister pack. Jim used Classic Metal Works windshield wipers, Ralph Ratcliffe Models Mack mirrors (trimmed down from the R series cab), Herpa air horns, scratchbuilt "S" style grab handles, and entry steps from brass rod. The paint is BASF automotive authentic fleet color for North American along with Molotow chrome pen for the chrome.
The trailer is basically as they come from Con-Cor or Herpa. Jim changed the big wheels sets to A-Line five spoke along with Classic Metal Works tires for the lower profile look and the trailer roof is painted steel color.
