om Matty recently completed this Ford F-850 tandem tractor pulling a tandem axle dump trailer. The tractor uses a modified Athearn Ford F-850 cab mounted on an Atlas Ford LNT-9000 frame. The wheels are Athearn, exhaust stacks from ConCor, and horns from Alloy Forms. The trailer is made from an old Sheepscot cast plaster dump body mounted on a modified Athearn 23’ container chassis. The model was inspired by a rig driven by a Pittsburgh area neighbor in the early 1970s.
