This is a 1/87 model of the International Harvester Metrovan that was used by the band Aerosmith in the early '70s before they were famous. It was featured on the television show “American Pickers” after it was discovered abandoned and rusting away in a field. It was subsequently restored to condition it was in while used by the band. John DaPos made his version from a Classic Metal Works Metrovan model. He carefully removed driver side door and window and used wheels from a '66 Chevy. Mirrors and tires were spares. The body was spray painted and decals was self made. He then weathered and detailed it to match original which is shown in the bottom photo.
