Rick Hoskinson started with the ROCO/KOMO SU-100 WWII tank and improved it with many add-ons as well as scratchbuilt parts to create a more realistic representation of this very "basic" model. Painted with Model Masters enamels and weathered with washes and pastels. The crew are Preiser's Tank Riders painted and washed with Vallejo acrylics. The Styrofoam base was painted with "rattle" can gray and washed with oils to create a rock like effect.....topped off with Woodland Scenics static grass to recreate the Russian "Steppes".
